Amy Harper holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee and has spent the majority of her career living and working in Sevier County. Amy has served on many non-profit committees and boards, which include: Dr. Robert F. Thomas Foundation “Paint the Mountains Pink” Committee, Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Marketing Committee, American Cancer Society Sevier County Relay For Life Chairperson, Board Member of the Boys and Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains, County Chairperson for United Way of Sevier County (1986) and the Pigeon Forge Citizen’s Advisory Board. She is a member of Leadership Sevier and the Sevierville Noonday Rotary Club.
A resident of Sevier County since 1990, Kathy has worked with non-profits in a number of overlapping positions for over twenty five years. She joined the United Way staff in 2010. Prior to United Way, Kathy worked on staff at the Smoky Mountain Children’s Home and Widows Ministry Center whose focus was meeting and addressing the needs of abused, hurting and disenfranchised children and providing a safe living environment for widows.
