Become a United Way Partner

Partnership: Programs wishing to partner or become a partner with United Way of
Sevier County must be established programs with historical work in our county.
Application for funding opens up in early fall. Programs must be in good standing as a 501c3 non-profit with local board representation, serve a Sevier County population, and work in one of our three focus areas of health, education or self-sufficiency.

Discretionary funding: Funds raised through our annual campaign are allocated for
partner funding. A volunteer committee reviews grant requests, tours partner agencies and evaluates funding decisions through our fund distribution process. Following this process, recommendations are made on where discretionary one-time grants should be allocated.

Any 501©3 non-profit that serves Sevier County people and aligns with our focus areas can apply. The distribution of grants time frame begins in early summer and is done quarterly.
